Good Effort...

This is a good effort, and decent animation. Now here's some tips should you choose to listen:

Drop the anime art style. You can still draw just as interesting and better with a style that you develop, take some anatomy classes, some figure construction; and then you'll be find a method that looks great.

Drop the pop music. I know you probably love whatever band that was, and I'm sure you think that song brings you great memories or maybe you can picture great things from that song. But a LOT of people don't see it that way. You need to pick something that's preferrably without lyrics, something that fits the mood and scenery.

Animation wise... drop the dragonball fights. Okay, they were cool the first time we ever laid eyes on them, I admit. But we're all getting older, we've seen them in flash animations a million times, not counting all the anime fights that are exactly like it. Dissapearing and re-appearing is NOT cool, if you really want to emphasize that these characters are having a grander than life battle, there is an infinite number of ways to show it, than to dissapear, clash, reappear.

Text and no voices - if your animation is just about a fight... don't include story telling unless it's going to have voices. Text simply kills it. You already know the name of this flash animation, that's why it's not called "The Last Scene From One of My Stories". If you insist on putting story to a fight you make, put it on the extras, or in the notes. But don't stop the action just to force the viewer to read a whole bunch of nonsense that doesn't make sense to anyone. I'm sure you have this grand storyline planned out, but it's embarassing when you're forced to read a bunch of sappy crap in a movie that you're thrusted into without knowing anything previous to it. The introduction text does not help either.

Final advice: I like anime, and I used to love the idea of drawing just like the japanese. In the end, you come to realize that it's all just a fad. Even further, a cultural fad. A fad that drives away a lot of people. A fad that makes money, and tries to imitate itself over and over again, creating ridiculous amounts of cliches in all sorts of animes. "everything has already been done" is a popular quote you will hear over and over. Cliches are inevitable. But they don't have to be lame if you do it right. You have learned enough from the anime art style, so now use that and develop it more. But leave the diamond chins, pointy flat noses, huge eyes and ridiculous hair styles behind.
That's my 2 dollars and 2 cents.

I like it like it

Looks good so far, once you put in the final touches, it'll really turn eyes. Keep it up!

NINJA VANISH!!!!!

Ninja turtles references ftw. I love the sweet animation. Very samurai jack'ish.

Not bad

The animation was sub par, but the at least it was a complete animation and not something that you never finished. The other problem I had with it, was that the talking was dreadfully slow. I would recommend practicing your lines and then speaking them a little faster next time so it doesn't feel like we're listening to someone reading a script.

Good job and I hope you make more!

Konami

lol nice, I love it. I'm glad old skool knowledge brings me porn.

Bitey is such an ass =P

Another amazing short, I loved it. Makes me all googly sad for all the creatures that Bitey hurts and/or pushes around. Hes's such an ass =p

Very nice

A) it was great, great animation, intro/outro were done pretty flawless and flowed well.

B) you have got to get better microphones, the voices were good, but the quality really sucked.

C) The dialogue spiked up between cheesy and serious back and forth almost too quickly. I think for future episodes you should try to revise the script before making sure that's what you want. Remember that everything always sounds good in theory, until it's acted out. What you mean one thing to be, doesn't always end the same.

D) You should never use alphabetized bullets to illustrate a point!

=D

Have a good one, look forward to your next video.

F#$% YEAH!

I don't care what anyone says, that's my favorite western movie ever, and this is the best madness yet. You have a freaking remix of the original theme song! that totally caught me off guard. Great job man, this is great stuff. Made my day. =)

To the last reviewer...

First of all, you miss the point of these animations, it's about animation, it's obvious it's not about plot you dim wit. It's called RYO THE NINJA KID. How shallow do you think that title is? This is an animation about fun. He already mentioned what his inspirations are, so what if he used similar settings?. He's not here to entertain you, so it's not your cup of tea? shut up and let the rest of us enjoy it. This whole episode was just him fighting another ninja, again, do you think he's doing this because of story? If we were having this discussion in a room and you were there, I would just get up and start beating you in the face. You're one of those "nothing is good enough for me" type of people. So you don't like it? Don't even bother posting. Don't even bother clicking this link ever again. If you don't have anything relevant to say about anyone's animations, then just shut up.

To the animator: You did a great job with the fight scene, just keep doing what you're doing. Don't let anyone tell you how to draw or what to draw. If this is easy for you to animate, then keep doing it. Just because people don't like chibi, or because they don't like anime, or if they don't like some art style, it doesn't give them one single fucking right to tell you what to do. But you know this already. So just keep up the good work, I await episode 5 most impatiently.

Awesome!

It was great, had a great message and the animation was superb. I was trying to think of where I had heard that song before, and it finally hit me - Lost. It's a really good song, I'm glad you found a use for it. Keep making more movies, hoping to see another Adam Android movie soon n_n .

I don't know you, you don't know me.
